Skillfully Wrought

Psalm 139:15 says, "My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth."(NKJV) The phrase "skillfully wrought" means "(1)to variegate, mix colours, (b)to be skilfully wrought or woven". It amazes and humbles me to know that God used such creativity to fashion each us! Not only that, but because we were created in His image we have been given that same desire and ability to be creative! What a gift!

Started - January 18, 2019

Completed - January 23, 2019

Notes: Cast on 20 stitches using JMCO and magic loop.

Round 1: Knit.

Round 2: Needle 1: K1, KFB, knit to last 2 stitches, KFB, K1. Repeat for needle #2.

Round 3: Repeat row 2.

Round 4: Knit.

Repeat rows 3 and 4 until there are 36 stitches (18 on each needle).

Knit in pattern (across top of foot) until sock measures 3” from the toe. (27 roounds)

Work FLK heel. Knit 4 rows before beginning pattern on back of leg.

Knit until leg measures about 3 inches from where patterning begins on back of leg. (30 rounds)

My husband, Scott, and I have been married for 12 years. We have five precious children so far, 3 sons and 2 daughters here on earth! We are praying for many more baby blessings! My husband works with his parents on our organic dairy farm. We also raise many other farm animals and grow most of our own food. I began teaching myself to knit in August of 2007. I started with dishcloths and quickly moved on to more challenging projects. I hope to learn how to spin very soon!
